A graduate of Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, in 2010, he chose to begin his professional journey independently soon after completing his education. What started as a young architect's pursuit of meaningful design gradually evolved into a multidisciplinary practice working across architecture, interior design and specialised spaces.

Over the years, his experience has been shaped not only by design but also by the realities of execution. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and craftsmen has developed an approach that looks at a project as a whole — from the first line on paper to the final detail on site.

His design language is contemporary yet timeless, with a strong emphasis on proportion, material, light, functionality and detailing. Rather than imposing a signature style on every project, he believes that each space should develop its own character through its context, purpose and the people who inhabit it.

The practice has grown through a diverse body of work, ranging from residences and luxury interiors to commercial, institutional, hospitality and specialised projects. Each project brings a new opportunity to explore ideas, materials and ways of creating spaces that are both visually distinctive and comfortable to experience.

For Mr. Yogesh Chavan, architecture is a continuous process of learning. Every project, every site and every client contributes something to the evolution of the practice.

Today, more than a decade after its inception, Yogesh Chavan Associates continues to pursue design with the same curiosity and commitment with which it began — creating spaces that are carefully considered, individually expressive and made to stand the test of time.
